Requirements/Qualifications:

• 15 hours college credit or waiver letter with detailed information on previous work with children in an educational enviroment (copy of transcript reflecting a minimum of 15 hours is required).
• Completed online application
• Completed New Hire and Substitute documents (Link is in the left column on the Careers tab page)
• Copy of required I-9 documentation (See allowable list of documentation on I-9 form under New Substitute Documentation link on Careers webpage)
• Certified teachers must provide a copy of their certification
• Attend mandatory Substitute Orientation (Call 972.923.4631 for next available date/time)

Substitutes must complete state required fingerprint process before actual substitute jobs can be assigned. More information will be presented at the orientation.
